Below are revised lyrical verses of Jimi Hendrix’s Hey Joe to commemorate Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.
Hey Joe, a-where you goin’ with those docs in your hand?
Hey Joe, I said, where you goin’ with those docs in your hand? Oh yeah
I’m gonna ride my green Stingray
You know I got caught messin’ ’round with our top secrets
So I’m goin’ to drive the Vette
You know I got caught messin’ ’round with top secrets
Huh, and that ain’t too cool
Hey Joe, I heard you stashed them all around
You just laid them down
Hey Joe, I heard you carelessly put them down
You put them down all around, yeah
Yeah
Yes, I did, I lost them,
You know I got caught them messin’ round, mess
in’ round
Yes, I did, I lost them
You know I lost them, then sent in my lawyers
And I gave the okay
To return them.
Alright.
Remind me one more time again, baby
Yeah
Oh, I get it.
Ah, alright.
Hey Joe,
You left documents in your garage
Hey Joe, I said
You left classified papers there
Come on, man.
They were safe in there
Like I said I would
I returned them
So move on
