Homicides are rising significantly in liberal cities:

An analysis by the Wall Street Journal, which was published on Sunday, showed that homicides, shootings, and gun violence in the 50 largest cities rose in 2020, with murders, in particular increasing by 24% so far this year, to 3,612. Thirty-six of the 50 cities have experienced at least a 10% rise in homicides…

Chicago, the city with the most number of homicides, is averaging one about every eight nights. The total number of murders in the city in July climbed 139% compared to the same month in 2019. There were 105 homicides in July compared to 44 in the previous year, and the city is up 51% from the same point last year….

9. Columbus – Two decades of Democrat rule
10. Jacksonville – Republican
11. Los Angeles – Democrat for two decades

Austin TX, a very liberal city with a strong Antifa and BLM presence – they are experiencing a significant increase in homicides:

Austin saw nine more murders through June 2020 than at the same point in 2019 – a 64% increase.

According to Austin Police Department Chief Brian Manley’s June monthly report, the area saw a 64.29% increase in homicides compared to the same point last year. It shows that there were 14 murders by the end of June 2019 and 23 murders by the end of June 2020.


This articles data comes from Austin Police Department via WSJ but data was pulled on June 30 so doesn’t include July/Aug – so it’s probably higher:
