Russian state media is claiming that 50 Ukrainian saboteurs have crossed the border and are holding a village hostage as “explosions and gunfire is heard”. Russian media group BAZA suggested that Ukrainian soldiers had captured inhabitants in the village of Sushany, just a few miles from the Ukrainian region of Kharkiv. TASS agency alleged that there are “dead and wounded among the residents” in the area after a shootout broke out between the local security services and the allegedly Ukrainian saboteurs. Reports of the incident could not be verified.
