Houthi-run TV shows fighting with Saudi-backed forces as airstrikes hit Sanaa the day after the second Riyadh airport strike

Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah TV broadcast footage it said showed rebels fighting Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces. Local media and the Houthi-run Health Ministry reported airstrikes on Sanaa: one on a salt factory in the Hamadan district killed a man and wounded eight, another on a house wounded a woman and three children. The rebels’ media center blamed Saudi Arabia. No immediate Saudi comment. This follows Saturday’s Houthi strike on King Khalid International in Riyadh that killed 13 and wounded more than 300, and Sunday’s projectile on Terminal 4 that started a fire and caused injuries. The airport remains closed. Saudi-backed forces launched the “Dawn of Yemen” offensive on 4 October aimed at retaking Houthi-held territory including Sanaa. Coalition has reported hitting more than 100 Houthi targets in recent days. Trump has said the U.S. is looking at joining Saudi strikes on the Houthis.
