Of course governments want totalitarian power like the CCP, but how stupid can citizens be to just give it to them willingly and cheer it on?

Humans are a very, very special breed of stupid. Not even other Terran lifeforms except for sheep and cows (we bred them that way) display the same ‘hollow’ MASS stupidity that we do. Deep down, we KNOW why the aliens visiting us observe us with severe trepidation from a distance.
