Asset testing medicaid and SNAP in Iowa targets rural white families who are employed but paid too little to afford the basics for their families.
The one thing that’s correct is banning SNAP from being used for soda and candy.
But obesity can’t be their concern.
The same Iowa GOP goes to Washington to get federal corn subsidies to fill all of our food up with toxic high fructose corn syrup.
