If ALL OF THE following can't get $VIX above 45, what will?
– Inflation at 9%
– Food/gas prices at all time highs
– 80%+ of tech in bear market
– Sentiment at all time low
– Raising rates 8+ times into a recession
No bear market in history has bottomed with $VIX below 45.

Bad news: Samsung slashes output plans by 50% to lower burgeoning inventory.
They told suppliers everything was fine last month.
Chip inventories also to be cut = more auto chip supply for carmakers. Bad news for $TSLA pricing.

Retail sales are not adjusted for inflation. So if prices rise 5%, even if the same amount of goods are sold, sales should be up 5%. However, besides missing expectations, they were down -0.3% vs +0.7% in Apr, even with the CPI +0.7% in May. #Recession is already here.
