Today’s Guardian featured a long essay on why we should let children vote and argued seriously that the voting age should be reduced to six years old. This is the first paragraph
“There is no good reason to exclude children from the right to vote. Indeed, I believe there is a strong case for lowering the voting age to six, effectively extending the franchise to any child in full-time education.”
Six? Most people don’t know what they’re doing till they’re thirty.
