The failing New York Times published a very racist op-ed on Saturday, an article written by a (black) law professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. The professor’s name is Ekow N. Yankah and the op-ed is rather strangely titled “Can My Children Be Friends With White People?”
Obviously, the “professor” concludes that no, his children cannot be friends with white people, and that’s somehow kosher, as race-relations under Obama-the Unifier reached historic lows and we’ll just have to follow into the steps of the dear leader, now with that white supremacist in the White House, isn’t it?
The bizarre question in the title is due to the author’s perception of white’s contempt for blacks and other racial minorities, which (in his view) became a serious issue in recent months. The argument is that the rising unemployment among blue-collar whites, the opioid epidemic and the NFL scandal (the players protesting during the national anthem), which was obviously racist, received far too much attention from the general public/the mainstream media than the issues the black community is confronted with on a daily basis, and this reveals beyond doubt the secret disdain for black plebes whites are guilty of.
Yankah writes:
“As against our gauzy national hopes, I will teach my boys to have profound doubts that friendship with white people is possible. When they ask, I will teach my sons that their beautiful hue is a fault line. Spare me platitudes of how we are all the same on the inside. I first have to keep my boys safe, and so I will teach them before the world shows them this particular brand of rending, violent, often fatal betrayal.”
His racist and pessimistic attitude about white-black relations in America is not based on personal experience, as the author states he had a happy childhood completely free of racial tensions, but on the election of Donald Trump, obviously, and the violence in Charlottesville (which was white on white mostly).
Yankah attacked his leftist ilk too, who, in his skewed world-view, are guilty of not protesting enough. It’s worth mentioning that Yankah has a white wife and lots of white friends, as per his own admission, which leads us to believe this is just another race-baiting article speculating liberals’ white guilt, i.e. you’re guilty of being white by default, and that’s not bigotry nor racism, because blacks can’t be racist, rite?
These types of articles go against everything was built for the last 60-some years in the US, especially by the left (!), which continuously argues that race (and gender) is a social construct and you’re not supposed to make judgement solely based on a person’s race/ethnicity but on their character/ideas/ideology, and so forth and so on.
Also, keep in mind that this racist black dude is a law professor who is indoctrinating his students with his skewed and bigoted view of the American society. With professors like this one, it’s no wonder how basic statements such as “it’s okay to be white” are causing such an uproar on campuses all across the United States.
Hatred of whites is good fun, but someone has to make things work. The fact is, no race has uplifted mankind even one tenth as much as the white race has. The vast majority of science and technology was created and developed by whites. According to “Human Accomplishment” by Charles Murray, 97% of ALL scientific achievements originated from Europe and (White) North America. This is a graph that depicts where our scientific achievements come from.
The brilliance and innovation of European men (and sometimes women) has led to the inventions of the following:
The Automobile, Air Conditioning, Atomic Weapons, Modern Medicine, Modern Chemistry, Modern Physics, Modern Astronomy, Space Travel, Computers, Vaccines, Refrigeration, Skyscrapers, Cars, Planes, Trains, Discovery of Electricity, Relativity, Gravity, Quantum Theory, Advanced Mathematics, the Photoelectric Effect, Cameras, Cell phones, Satellites, Rockets, Plastic, Velcro, the Internet, Solar Panels, Discovery of Radiation, Microwaves, Gamma Radiation, the machine gun, various concepts of Democracy and Freedom (ancient Greece), and so on and so forth.
Let’s go all in, shall we? I’d like us to start screaming “Cultural Appropriation” every time a non-white person: uses electricity; drives a car; flies in a airplane; gets a vaccine; uses a computer or telephone of any kind…you get the idea.
It’s okay to be White.
And keep in mind, the campuses in the US and Europe are infested with hardcore marxists/communists just like this dude; there are literally THOUSANDS of professors just like this one. Just last week one stated that math keeps white supremacy alive. Another one last week said that whites should not have families or children because it perpetuates the same “racism” and “patriarchy”, whatever that insane blabber means. The left wants us all to hate each other, to hate the police, hate the politicians, they want you to be in a state of hate all the time. Is that what you want? Is that how you want to live your life?
What is more disturbing is that the so-called/used-to-be “paper of record” the New York Times prints this crap and gives it legitimacy. That is what is disturbing about it, not that it’s the opinion of one professor. It’s the mainstream media giving its support and blessing to what is a blatantly racist piece about whites that annoys people. It’s not one professor’s opinion, it’s the wholesale adoption of the fallacy that one cannot be racist against whites by the left, universities, the media, etc. I can’t take it seriously coming from one bitter hater living in an upper class neighborhood and married to a woman who “passes” as Caucasian. The fact that huge swathes of the country believe and support it is, however, offensive.
