Protesters are returning to the streets of Hong Kong on Saturday, October 12. On Friday, October 4, an Emergency Regulations Ordinance law was used to implement a ban on face masks at public gatherings in Hong Kong. After a week of complete shutdowns and early closures, and following months of mounting concerns, Hong Kong’s once-prized train system has become another tool of government suppression, say pro-democracy protesters. Yellow Vests: Toulouse will be the national center of the movement today. The procession will start at 14h from Jean-Jaurès. The event has not been declared in the prefecture. The Capitol Square will again be closed to protesters from 1pm to 8pm. Anyone demonstrating in this area will be fined 135 euros.
