- According to the WARN notices submitted in April, clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch is laying off a total of 8,187 employees in California, New York and Wisconsin;
- Steel giant ArcelorMittal axed more than 1,500 jobs across plants in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Illinois;
- Department store Burlington is laying off 6,842 employees in California;
- Nearly 4,000 employees of CorePower Yoga is being laid off in California and Maryland;
- Car rental company Enterprise Holdings is laying off around 8,500 workers across 23 states;
- The Cheesecake Factory in California is laying off 8,369 employees;
- Forever 21 shed 4,167 jobs in California and New York;
- Oil giant Haliburton is laying off 5,333 workers in five states including Texas and Oklahoma;
- Diversified manufacturer Leggett & Platt is laying off 2,220 workers in seven states;
- Texas-based chain Pappas Restaurants is laying off up to 10,000 employees;
- Optical retailer Visionworks is laying off up to 15,000 employees in 17 states;
- 2,895 workers at automotive supplier ZF are losing their jobs in five different states;
- Listed company Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) is laying off 9,790 employees in five states including California;
- Trump’s golf clubs (in California, New York and Virginia), Trump International Hotels (in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago and District of Columbia) and Trump National Doral Miami are laying off a total of 1,981 workers.
