MEGA FLOODING in South Borneo, Indonesia (Kalimantan)

South Borneo (Kalimantan) in Indonesia is currently hit by the worst flooding with flash floods in 20 years. Some cities there experience flooding the first time in 50 years. Around 200,000 hectares (500k acres, Rhode Island is 700k acres) underwater up to 3 meters/ 10 feet high. 15 people died so far, 100,000 people + evacuated. Its raining season in Indonesia and still 1 month to go.

Where I sit, about 1000 km/600 miles south of Kalimantan, we are experiencing heavy rainfalls I have not seen in 10 years . And yes – my mom’s basement is underwater.

Deforestation causing floods, Palm Oil Plantations for your late night snacks, Orang Utan’s home, Greenpeace Agenda, Global Warming, Prince Charles, COVID-19, Depopulation? Its all connected some may say….
