The claim is accurate. At the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) in March 2026, the Agreed Conclusions on access to justice for women and girls passed 37-1 (US sole no vote, 6 abstentions). First non-consensus adoption in its history.
US opposed due to language on “gender” (sought biological male/female only, rejected gender ideology) and “sexual and reproductive health and rights” (viewed as implying abortion). Its 8 amendments failed.
