U.S. stock futures pointed to a higher open October 21. Nasdaq 100 futures rose about 0.6% to 0.75%. S&P 500 futures gained roughly 0.2% to 0.3%. Dow futures were flat to up 0.1%. The move followed SpaceX’s overnight report of $14.58 billion in Q3 revenue, up 161%, and $4.4 billion net income, with its AI segment at $7.6 billion. Musk said a Tesla merger had “a lot of merit.” Asia’s chip heavy Kospi closed up more than 3%. Nikkei rose 0.85%. Premarket, SpaceX shares jumped around 9% and Super Micro more than 10%. Netflix fell about 6% after hours. Brent crude held near $109 to $110. Gold futures traded around $4,140, down for a fourth session.
