New York is proposing a bill that would let the governor indefinitely detain anyone “suspected” of being carrier of any communicable disease in a quarantine facility.

The language in assembly bill A416 is quite vague and looks like it could be interpreted in a way that they could detain literally anyone if they wanted.

And the fact that governor cuomo has been going after the Jewish community in New York for protesting the lockdowns is very disturbing…. almost as if history repeats itself huh?

This is not a left vs right issue. It’s an issue of basic human freedoms and civil liberties. We are quickly becoming a medical dictatorship, and there needs to be more protests while protesting is still legal
