Frankly, I think Lil’ Kim is backing down, and I do not believe there will be any type of military strike from either the US or NK.
I think China has helped settle this, and they just cancelled all flights to NK.

See, the problem with this is, it doesn’t matter what NK does or doesn’t do. The US can just say they have secret intelligence that NK did something, akin to the Syrian chemical attack done out of Jordan with a drone under Saudi/Israeli auspices.
In a climate of total deception, what people do doesn’t matter at all.
If the US draws back it’s bow, and doesn’t shoot, they will lose face, at least in the whole Asian Pacific world. You never start a fight you don’t finish in Asia. You’re a pussy if you do that.
What can Trump say if kim doesn’t blow off a nuke or test a missile soon? We made him wait? So, they’ll give the tech to Iran, and Iran will test the tech for them. That’s no win. Trump fk’d himself. HE HAS TO ATTACK NOW, or he’s a bitch.
Even to me, he’s a bitch if he doesn’t attack, because you don’t act like a prick unless you have to do so. There was NO reason to act like a belligerent prick at this time 70 days into his presidency, unless his job was to piss off every possible faction domestically, and globally. Which he HAS DONE. That only shows me weakness, and weak people are supremely dangerous. In effect, all other governments will first strike us now, because there’s no reason to assume you can negotiate with a lunatic and/or idiot. Trump just destabilized the whole world. In a street fight, the person who attacks first almost always wins. That’s the world we live in now. It’s just one big street fight.
“You never start a fight you don’t finish in Asia. You’re a pussy if you do that.” VietNam, or did we flat out lose that one and retreat?
I think this morning we should say a prayer of thanks that we were able to deter Kim without firing a missile…that is what we should be thankful for. We are never thankful enough as Americans.
Deter him from what?
All he has ever said is that NK will respond to any attack with maximum force.
Well, the little piggie WAS saying threatening things to Japan and South Korea and the US for years, all saying he would totally annihilate us, and nuke us.
I have no problem making NK glass. I have a problem with my brothers and sisters in the military getting nuked or killed in any way on their love boats, South Korea…meh, Samsung and the whole country is shady to me, given their surveillance stance, idc about them…and I have a problem of China using NK as their proxy to mess with us and potentially destroy us with justification walking into their trap.
NK is ONLY a Chinese mouse trap. That Trump is engaged in it makes me think him a chump.
The president of NK was saying as his father and grandfather before him, that if attacked he will respond in force against his attackers including the allies.
I think that that is perfectly reasonable.
The USA has been sanctioning and attacking the NK for the last 50 years because the NK made the Yanks look like d-heads.
The US flattened the whole country and still the little ‘gooks’ did not surrender.
They haven’t after 50 years of war and they will not.
Attack them by all means, but expect to have a response 100x stronger than the arabs’ response after what you did to them.
‘I have a problem of China using NK as their proxy to mess with us ” are you joking or just a moron? The US has been ‘messing’ with every country in the world, and you make comments like that. (including China or did you miss that history lesson).
Well, why threaten Japan then? Why over the years periodically threaten the US? Was it only during military war games on his border like this year? Idts, but I’ll go back and verify.
I agree, given the current situation and behavior, it sure looks like NK has biological, chemical and nuclear weapons for retaliation strikes against anyone trying to overthrow them. This round goes to NK, the US looks like dicks.
Japan is the country threatening, they have US troops and planes and they are the most bellicose. Do you have any idea of the history between Japan and Korea? Do you know what the Japanese did to the Koreans before and during the WWII?
“Japan and Korea share a history of exchange and conflict dating back nearly two millennia, and Japan’s 1910-1945 period of colonial rule in Korea continues to cast a long shadow over its relationships on both halves of the Peninsula. Since the end of World War II and the division of Korea, relations between Japan and North Korea have been mostly defined by tension and distrust, punctuated by occasional periods of tentative engagement. The ethnic Korean community in Japan has played an important role in this relationship, with the pro-North Korean organization, Chongryon, acting as an unofficial North Korean embassy in Japan. Japan’s current priorities regarding North Korea center around the issue of North Korea’s past abductions of Japanese citizens, and concerns over North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs. North Korea, which frequently issues strong criticisms of Japanese policies, has prioritized in various rounds of dialogue with Tokyo the normalization of relations between the two countries and receiving financial compensation for perceived historical injustices.
After the Russo-Japanese War in 1905, Japan assumed de facto control over Korea, formally annexing the Peninsula in 1910. As part of an effort to build an economically self-sufficient empire, Japan invested into Korea’s industrialization, establishing most of the heavy industry in the northern half of the Peninsula. Korea supplied Japan with industrial equipment such as steel, tools, machines and chemicals, as well as foodstuffs. However, the benefits of this increasing economic productivity did not reach the majority of the Korean population.
Japan implemented harsh and restrictive policies towards the Korean people throughout the colonial period, with policies of forcible assimilation hitting a peak as Japan expanded its empire during the 1930s and 40s.’
Do you think that Japan would hesitate one second if it thought that it could take back the ‘monkey country’.
Not NK (nor any other country since England) has ever threatened the USA with violence! Only if attacked would a country respond. But the world does not forget that US has attacked nearly 100 countries, many through the use of the CIA and proxies, and there is one heck of a lot of karma due to be repaid.
(PS please don’t give me that Pearl Harbour crud, or even think about quoting 9/11)
Yes, PJ. The Japanese thought it wise to make their former enemy as smart as them by impregnating an enormous number of Korean women that were used as comfort girls.
Samsung, wouldn’t exist without the japanese/korean mix. Btw, those women are particularly beautiful, at least to me, but I think Japanese girls, the prettiest ones are the optimal type, with Russian women with those crescent upper lips a close second. Tasted both, 2 thumbs up!
China will destroy Japan within the decade. NK is China’s proxy not only for the US but for Japan. There’s a complex triple cross going on with oriental and western oligarchs in the area. I’m unsure who is DP’ing whom at the moment.
I haven’t reviewed all the bellicous NK statements yet, and try to put them in context of the events on those dates. I’m mostly just feeling disgusted thinking this whole event was to just make people scared cause psychopaths like people’s pain and discomfort. They literaly have orgasms watching torture (that’s why hollywood makes those horror porn movies, just for them…those should be illegal)
NK shot a missile in the air and it failed on Sunday (today). OR the bullshit story is that so the US doing nothing can save face. US did nothing. US was fk’ing bluffing. Interesting. The rest of the world has updated their algorithms I suspect.
If you know how North Korea rolls you must suspect that they have munitions in American cities. Their covert capabilities are highly advanced.
They also have advanced chemical and bacterial weapons, cunningly disguised as “Chinese take aways”.
You get to pay them for poisoning you.
I thought he was going to focus on domestic issues and Make America a little better than what it was
I agree, the deplorables got sold out, but the 40% of the US that were in pre-revolutionary mood prior to the last presidential election are still that way and still prepared. We just found out that we lived JFK’s quote:
“Those who make peaceful change impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable.”
ALERT: ASSOCIATED PRESS: In an interview Friday with The Associated Press, North Korea’s Vice Minister Han Song Ryol said President Donald Trump’s tough tweets toward Pyongyang were adding to a “vicious cycle” of tensions. Han said if the U.S. shows any sign of “reckless” military aggression, Pyongyang is ready to launch a pre-emptive strike of its own.
Trump, who last week acted unilaterally in ordering a cruise missile strike on Syria, has been using America’s military might to send a message to Kim. An aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, is heading to waters off Korea in a show of force. Trump has repeatedly issued ambiguous threats that if Beijing isn’t willing to do more to squeeze the North, the U.S. might take the matter into its own hands.
But a U.S. military official, who requested anonymity to discuss planning, said the U.S. doesn’t intend to use military force against North Korea in response to either a nuclear test or a missile launch. The official said plans could change in the unlikely event a North Korean missile targets South Korea, Japan or U.S. territory.
the U.S. doesn’t intend to use military force against North Korea in response to either a nuclear test or a missile launch.
and 36 people were killed in a tunnel system built for them by the CIA in the 1980s, and somehow they know that cause they dug up 100s of tons of rubble and counted the dismembered hands? Come on. I call bs.
When has the US military spoken the truth? We live in the old USSR because Putin ejected his oligarchs, so they set up shop here in the US and tada, we have the same system. The Russia immigrants here in NYC I know, bitch to me, that they didn’t come here to go back to the USSR…
Yep, bs. As usual from U.S. government.
Last time I looked people like Trump, Prentice, McMasters, Bannon, etc. are all American born. You have been watching too many films with Russian gangsters in them.
And the US has lied on every other promise and treaty too.
The second the world realizes the US is a paper tiger, we’re gonna get slaughtered Casara.
So, let’s say the military doesn’t touch Syria anymore and backs down on NK. Now what? We have a petulant child as president? What was all the energy given to this for? Was it just to get the former NSA Rice that is the architect of a scandal worse than watergate could ever be off the headlines? Was it just to divert attention away from the US government being so unconstitutional in it’s conduct that the personnel in toto should be jailed?
FML.
Trump and Xi agreed to let China have a go at getting Noko under control. That’s what is happening now.
The USS Carl Vinson is on routine patrol, not attempting to threaten Noko at this time.
The Syria and Afghanistan attacks would suggest Trump’s behavior as quite the opposite of a paper tiger. The Syria attack was more like an irrational, knee-jerk tiger.
So how do you deal with an irrational opponent? STRIKE FIRST. The US just made the world work for it’s destruction as a matter of survival. Necessity is the mother of all inventions.
I think in the situation we are finding ourselves in now….we have to take one day at a time…bottom line…not get out of focus of the day.
I think you are correct on the weapons. They are “rotating” the stockpile by purchasing new. As far as the MOAB, little boys playing with their big toys. “Mommy that was fun, buy me another one.”
Right. Exactly.
Jeff, it is a mess. I know this, but all we can do is to take a day at a time. I am very concerned that President Trump has given so much power to the military. They did not even consult him before using that moab bomb. I just did an article on it. I am horrified. Plus, Kim has just let it out he plans to unify North and South Korea and become king.
I don’t think Trump ‘gave’ power to the military. I think they took it. It’s called a soft coup. The civilians in government are just window dressing. Can’t see anything positive for the future except death and destruction and these people believe their own propaganda about being ‘exceptional’.
It is apparent Trump has less control over the Pentagon than Obama or Bush Jr. did.
Trump did not even give the ok on the MOAB bomb, they did not even ask him before launching it.
There is truth in what you say. I though want to thank God that we dodged the bullet this time. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/38fd4befa1cd164d28a23a803e9d3c8404f167c1fa9327b51b0b50659fed978f.jpg

Isn’t it interesting that this is going down over Easter? I don’t think that was a mistake, and that pisses me off even more.

What makes you think that the decision was Trump’s? (edit re. Syria)
Anyone who has run a business knows that 60% -90% of the decisions made are to agree with what is going to happen anyway.
Trump needed the support of the military to offset the CIA-Corporats and the Clinton-Bush-CNN mob.
He gave them $54bn, once he caved, he was gone.
I believe that it was more likely, “We are going to bomb them, get on board or be dumped.”?
I guess that comes from thinking the US is an indispensable and exceptional nation. Trouble is this nonsense is viewed only through the prism of the military.
“tough tweets” so presidential, so sad
I hate to see the united states of aggression lose such a worthy opponent
This is what happens when we get a mad man in the White House!
