Nothing political at all about the attempted take down of Jim Jordan by the lead investigative firm, Perkins Coie. Nope, nothing fishy at all…just a coincidence.

From the NBC original story and buried near the end:

In response to a series of questions from NBC, Ohio State emailed a statement saying that the law firm Perkins Coie was overseeing the probe into the Strauss allegations for the university. OSU said it has also reached out “to the Columbus Division of Police and the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for any potential criminal investigation.”

“To date, Perkins Coie has interviewed more than 150 former students and witnesses and is engaged in further investigative efforts,” the university said in the statement. “Ohio State has shared all additional information that has come to the attention of the university with the independent investigators whose work is ongoing.”

OSU alums out there need to call out their alma mater on this bullshit before they get this story rolling to take down one of our best fighters.

Guys…just found some info that is pretty big. This investigation was announced in the Dispatch in April and here’s the key part:

The attorney general’s office also has appointed an independent investigator at the university’s request. The Bricker & Eckler law firm will conduct a “comprehensive investigation of each and every allegation,” according to the university’s announcement.

So somebody caught wind of Jordan being in the proximity of this thing and the apolitical Bricker & Eckler law firm was kicked to the curb and then replaced by the corrupt legal arm of the DNC, Perkins Coie. Can someone get a reporter on this to find out why OSU made the switch and is calling it an “independent” investigation?
