New York Times engineering director shot dead in California, in-laws arrested

Jonathan McKinsey, 40, director of engineering for New York Times Games, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of Dublin Sports Grounds in Dublin, California. Police arrested his 77-year-old mother- and father-in-law, Shouyong Zhang and Shili Chen, nearby. Both were booked on suspicion of murder.
A witness told KPIX that the man and woman took turns shooting McKinsey. Police have not independently confirmed that sequence or identified which suspect fired which shots.
