Much is being said about Trump’s NSA head, Mike Flynn, and the recent past, the politics within the WH, and now, some of what might be going on. A bit of it is from this; If I am channel surfing and pass by Fox News, I’ll click back if Dr. Sebastian Gorka is on – I like what he says and how it says it. One also has to respect his background as well. He had this to say (reformatted, emphasis mine for all the snippets, and with some other links, this post could go on for a bit and STILL not capture all of this issue but a basic taste, sure):
“I can’t comment on what was said, or what wasn’t said, on those telephone calls even though the good general himself says that he can’t remember all the details,” Gorka said. “All I can tell you is my personal experience. I spent several months working very closely with General Flynn and the transition team, in his National Security Council transition team. He’s a man you would trust with your life. He’s a great patriot, man of honor, worn the cloth of the Republic.
“The bottom line is, he shook things up in the DIA, and there are a lot of people who want to take revenge on him. Names I’m not going to list across the airwaves right now, but people who do a little bit of research can work out. The Establishment doesn’t like General Flynn, and for me, that’s a good thing,” he told SiriusXM host Alex Marlow.
Marlow proposed that Flynn was but the latest target of the Left’s “pick a target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it” strategy, as defined by Saul Alinsky in Rules for Radicals.
And he comes out with a list of who the Left, the Obama sycophants and embeds, and the denizens of the Deep State that believe THEY are the Government no matter who is in elected office – and there’s a catch:“You’re absolutely correct,” Gorka said. “Whether it’s Steve Bannon, whether it’s Stephen Miller, whether it was Monica Crowley, or whether it’s General Flynn now. Important point for the listeners, and this is what has to be grasped: it’s never about the issues. It’s not about Russia, it’s not about the safety of Americans, it’s not about preventing attacks like Paris or Nice happening in America. It’s the triangulation. We have to isolate and take down the individuals, separate them from their community, pillory them, and then just make their position untenable. It’s classic Alinsky, and I’m sorry, they’re just picking on the wrong guy, because this guy is as hard as nails.”
In the end, however, we all know what happened in that Flynn resigned last night. Another reporter says pretty much the same thing.
5. “All of the recording that are out there and the release of those transcripts were things that were done before the Trump Administration took their leadership on the 20th of January so there is no question the recordings were done in the old (Obama) administration, no question the transcripts were made from the old administration, the question is who leaked it out. It is our understanding that this was starting the trickle out before the swearing in (of President Trump) even occurred, that would tell me the old administration was targeting the new (administration).” —Senator Lankford on why he believes members of the Obama administration were behind releasing the recordings & transcripts of General Flynn’s conversations with the Russian Ambassador

6. This is a big story. Steve Bannon is furious with BREITBART, the alternative website he used to manage. Yikes! I would not want Steve Bannon angry with me. Bannon, who was executive chairman of Breitbart before becoming Donald Trump’s chief strategist, slammed the right-wing website on Wednesday for a report suggesting that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus might lose his job. “Not upset – livid,” is how Bannon described his feelings about the article to CNN. “The story is totally untrue. Reince is doing a great job. I couldn’t ask any more from a partner.” Breitbart’s story alleged that Priebus might be pushed out of the White House due to the forced resignation of Trump’s National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn. It cited “multiple sources close to President Trump.” When asked if he had spoken with Breitbart prior to the story’s publication, Bannon said he had “totally cut ties” and hadn’t talked to them since leaving the organization last August. (He was however interviewed by the site’s “Breitbart News Daily” radio program late last year.

Former CIA analyst and retired U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Tony Shaffer told FOX Business Network to be careful what they ask for. Democrats want an investigation into the Mike Flynn phone calls with Russia.
Its a smear campaign against Flynn but people need to keep asking ‘why’? The excuse about talking to Russia appears to have nothing to do with it.
1. Flynn was already draining the swamp with regard to stopping the heroin trafficking from Afghanistan and over the Mexican border… which border agents continue to do… making crooked intelligence operatives nervous…
2. Flynn was also ready to help drain the pedophile ring ‘swamp’ in Washington…
3. Flynn refused to fight on behalf of ISIS and was fired by Obummer because of it…
Flynn was one of the highest skilled intelligence officers in history.
Now, with regard to the Washington pedophile rings, they involve senators and other politicians, including Mike Pence’s friends and, according to multiple sources, he, himself… If you remember, it was Pence that went after Flynn’s son, who also exposed the pedophile activity….
People need to keep asking ‘why?’ Hillary Clinton tweeted in response to Flynn ‘what goes around Comets around…’ From her own mouth.
If Flynn was so important and relevant he can be retained as lead consultant for any operation under a flunky. It is really all that simple if he is clean and means well.
You are exactly right.
Yeah, she slipped up bigtime, didn’t she!
Chaffetz shrieked in horror at Trump’s use of the world “pussy” and backed away from Trump. I think this guy is a pussy.
That was back in the beginning, but since Trump told him to investigate whatever he chooses, he is very supportive of Trump now.
The beginning was only a month or so ago. I guess Chaffetz realized that pussy is good for you. I found him totally hypocritical. I wouldn’t trust that SOB for anything. Try Gowdy on the other hand…
Oh, lets hope you are wrong.
We recall Flynn’s incendiary comments attacking Iran for alleged and controversial violations of the 2015 nuclear pact, an attack which was clearly prompted by Israel First (not the America First) factions embedded in the Trump Administration. While on other fronts, Flynn seem to be doing quite well, especially his apparent willingness to go after the Pedophile ring in DC and elsewhere. We could hope the President will find a role for Flynn here in this critical area. But Flynn’s removal will have no effect on the Administration’s irrational middle east policy, which has put a great big target on Iran. Sigh!
Trump is a peace seeker… Tough talker but does NOT want to engage in Mideast conflicts, beyond protecting Israel.
I do not see Flynn slipping away quietly.. especially after HRC’s slimey comet pizza tweet; In fact, without the constraints of gov’t. oversight… Flynn may be more valuable as a outside consultant !
You ask the right questions. I came across a great article that I can’t find now. someone was offering the rationale behind Trump’s actions and reactions in the face of Flynn’s resignation. It was hinted that Trump is a brilliant tactician, and there was a method in his madness. It brought up some of the points you are making about Flynn’s value, and that Trump was setting a trap to catch the intel community at their own game. if I ever find the article, i will post it here as a reply to your comment.
