October Jobs Report: Unemployment Falls To 6.9%

Now that Joe Biden has apparently been elected Grand Sachem of Tammany Hall, we can focus our attention on the economy.

It is the October jobs report and we see that the unemployment rate has fallen to 6.9% and labor force participation has risen to 61.7%.

Of course, with large economies like California and Illinois still on lockdown, the US economy is improving but still not back to pre-Covid lockdown levels.

We are almost at the point where Speaker Pelosi can present a stimulus bill (subject to approval by the Republican-held Senate). Hopefully without all the ridiculous add-ons, now that the election is over. Nah, there is always another election.
