Boris Johnson will receive the report into parties in Downing Street and Whitehall in “the coming hours or days”, Sky News understands.
It means a redacted version of the report could be published next week.
The Met Police has denied trying to delay the report and says it has now received the information it needs from the Cabinet Office.
