Passports Could Become MANDATORY For Traveling INSIDE THE U.S. BY 2018!!!

Still Think 1984 Is Just Mere Fiction?!
YOU WON’T AFTER THIS!!!
Because recently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced on December 20th, 2013 a phased enforcement plan for the REAL ID Act, as passed by Congress, that will implement the Act “in a measured, fair, and responsible way.”
The REAL ID Act, passed by Congress in 2005, enacted the 9/11 Commission’s recommendation that the Federal Government “places standards for the issuance of sources of identification, such as driver’s licenses.” The Act established minimum security standards for license issuance and production and prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for certain purposes driver’s licenses and identification cards from states not meeting the Act’s minimum standards. The purposes covered by the Act are: accessing Federal facilities; entering nuclear power plants; and, no sooner than 2016, boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft.
However, there are certain U.S. states and territories wherein the issuance of government state IDs/driver’s licenses are non-compliant with the REAL ID Act. These regions have been issued an extension until Jan. 22nd, 2018 to update their state IDs so that they are in compliance with the REAL ID Act, in order to be eligible for commercial airline travel, be it internationally, or even domestically. If these regions do not comply, state IDs issued from these will no longer be permitted for identification use at airports…
These regions currently include: Alaska, California, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Washington — Residents of Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands could also be affected, as could those from Virginia.
To get past TSA security checkpoints, another form of identification might be required — including, but not limited to passport, passport card, permanent resident card/green card, or a military ID (See TSA Identification Link Below).
And, to make matters worse, every traveler will eventually need a REAL ID-compliant license or state ID or another acceptable form of identification to fly within the U.S. beginning October 1st, 2020, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
However, the question still remains: WHY all of these draconian laws and changes when it comes to air travel? How will this affect people like you and me, both domestically (WITHIN The U.S.) — And internationally, outside the borders? How could all of this play a role with immigration, martial law, and the coming police-state?!

  1. maybe or maybe not, by then under the rotting US gov., we may very well have BROKEN up into 30 different NATIONS and territories and need 30 DIFFERENT PASSPORTS, and ARMIES.

  2. So, to sum up the government’s positions:
In order to protect us from the evil terrorists, it’s necessary to make everyone get a passport and carry it around all the time.
But demands that someone should be required to have any form of photo ID in order to be allowed to vote are horribly racist.
Hitlery’s position is probably “I don’t care if the superpredators can travel, but they’d better vote for me whether they’re here legally or not!”

  3. All the security procedures required to get aboard a plane are a sham. If you really want to blow up a plane (or threaten to do so), it’s not like you need to bring anything – everything you need can be found right there on the plane in abundance, and it doesn’t need a rocket scientist to figure it out.
I’m not going to spell out how to do it for obvious reasons (while I doubt any wannabe-terrorists are reading this, you never know) – but anyone who paid any attention at all in highschool physics has heard (and probably seen a related experiment) of what you could do.
Maybe air travel should be restricted to people who don’t understand physics? That’s a sure way to prevent someone from building a makeshift bomb from components easily found aboard a plane – and will also make sure passengers believe in cartoonish claims like “fly the plane into a skyscraper and it will collapse onto its own footprint”.

  4. I hate to say it but i support a national id. However it should have on it if you’re eligible to vote in national elections and if you are eligible to vote you should be able to carry, open or concealed!

  5. Maybe more people will start taking trains instead of flying. I take the train when I can and drive the rest of the time. Since I’m on The List that doesn’t exist and “randomly selected” for extra screening every time I fly, I’ve just quit flying. My carefully packed luggage is still neatly packed when I arrive at my destination and it’s great stop at independent diners and meet all sorts of people. The best part is that the people I meet aren’t frustrated and angry due to the abuse that comes with flying.
