President Trump LIVE – Signing Executive Order On Illegal Immigration – Child/Parent Separation At The Border.

President Trump is live on air speaking about signing an Executive Order concerning illegal immigration and child/parent separation at the border.

President Trump said this morning he will be “signing something” to stop family separation at the border.

The policy of separating children from parents has received widespread condemnation, including on the right, and Republicans like Ted Cruz announced legislation to keep families together.

When asked this morning, the President told reporters, “I’ll be signing something in a little while that’s going to do that. I’ll be doing something that’s somewhat preemptive and ultimately will be matched by legislation, I’m sure.”

He explained that when he became President, there were so many issues President Obama had ignored.  In other words, he came into the Presidency with his plate full.

How has he been able to focus on the Presidency with Robert Mueller investigating his Presidency on a false premise?   The entire scam of an investigation has been ongoing since he took office, and it seems to keep snowballing as we speak.

I did many articles on the investigation from the beginning, but honestly I cannot make myself any clearer than I did from Day 1 of the investigation.

In one of my first articles on Special Counsel Mueller’s Russian Collusion Investigation I said the following –

“I am glad to see President Trump realizes Special Counsel Mueller is no straight shooter as this quote says, “There is no question these leaks give ammunition to critics to question the credibility and nonpartisan nature of the special counsel,” Jeffress said. “But I do wonder why they’ve adopted this strategy of attacking Mueller, who I know to be a straight shooter. He’s made no findings and if they’re confident he’s going to clear Trump in all of this, I think it’d be better to just push him to bring a speedy end to it all.”

You have got to be kidding!  Mueller is not planning to “bring a speedy end to it all.” Mueller was always aligned with James Comey and always will be.  President Trump is not falling for the façade of this special counsel any longer. Those who have eyes to see – do see.

We know that James Comey actually attempted to pay for the fake dossier from a company Hillary Clinton hired to dig up dirt on Trump.  You cannot make this stuff up!

It is unclear whether the Post story was leaked by the special counsel, the FBI, former FBI director James Comey and his allies, or witnesses that have been contacted by those law enforcement agencies as part of the investigation.  What a meandering stream of perps we have here, and it just continues to meander on.

“The Special Counsel’s Office has undertaken stringent controls to prohibit unauthorized disclosures that deal severely with any member who engages in this conduct,” Mueller spokesman Peter Carr told The Hill.  Sure, raise your hand if you believe this! In fact, Mueller’s best friend, James Comey, admits himself to be a “leaker”…a big one! But I am sure Mueller will ignore that.

Trump has chimed in on Twitter, saying Wednesday that “conflicted people” are running the “single greatest witch hunt in American political history.” Aside from Trump’s tweets, though, the White House is taking a backseat in the offensive, referring all questions about the special counsel to the president’s outside lawyers.  Trump is right again, and I am thankful for his outside lawyers.”

As you can see nothing has basically changed, and this whole Special Counsel investigation has only become more convoluted in its nature with no end in sight.

President Trump says he will sign an executive order Wednesday afternoon ending family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“We still have to maintain toughness or our country will be overrun by people, by crime, by all of the things that we don’t stand for and that we don’t want,” Mr. Trump said during a Wednesday meeting with members of Congress at the White House. “So I’m going to be signing an executive order in a little while before I go to Minnesota. But at the same time I think you have to understand we are keeping families together, but we have to keep our borders strong.”

He called the measure “somewhat preemptive” but called on Congress to work towards a more permanent fix on the issue, saying that perhaps a more comprehensive immigration reform bill– one that may tackle the family separation issue, while also addressing security concerns, etc.– may be possible.

“Beyond this one problem of immigration— you can mention the word ‘comprehensive’ or you don’t have to use it,” Mr. Trump said. “A lot of politicians don’t like the word ‘comprehensive immigration reform,’ but I really think we have an opportunity to do the whole immigration picture and that’s what I’m looking to do ultimately. But right now we want to fix this problem and I think we’ll be able to do that.”

With this, he also called on Democrats for support.

“They really would like to have open borders where they can just flow in,” Mr. Trump said of congressional Democrats.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ “zero-tolerance” policy for illegal entry at the U.S.-Mexico border. Because any illegal border crossing is prosecuted, parents and children are separated during the legal process.

The president said child smugglers, which he cited as a major reason behind that parent-child separation policy Tuesday, “use these children as passports to get into the country.”

Addressing Mr. Trump, Vice President Mike Pence spoke publicly on the issue for the first time at the meeting, ultimately echoing Mr. Trump’s call for Congress to address family separation by a more permanent means.

“We don’t want families to be separated,” Pence said. “We don’t want children taken away from parents, but right now under the law, as we sit with these law makers, we only have two choices before us: number one, don’t prosecute people who come into our country illegally. Or, prosecute them and then under court cases and the law, they have to be separated from their children.”

In conclusion, this is a humanitarian crisis, which must be taken care of immediately.  I am sure President Trump, Republicans, and Democrats can surely do that together as they meet on Capitol Hill today.
