Low birth rates correlate pretty closely with highly developed societies.
The richer and more developed the society, the lower the birth rates it seems.
You can see Victor Orban’s policy of throwing money at couples (ifstudies.org/blog/is-hungary-experiencing-a-policy-induced-baby-boom) to have more children isn’t really working.
Their birthrate is still 1.5. I think the elephant in the room is obviously women’s liberation.
If women are too busy chasing education and careers, they’re not having children.
Pretty simple.
