Reddit is actively curating and removing Chinese Shenzhen content showing paramilitary vehicles preparing for Hong Kong incursion

by suckfail

This started with a r/videos post which hit top 5 on r/all before being removed as political:

After this a GIF was posted showing the same video. It too reached top 5 before being removed, this time saying it was a recent cross-post (from where? The removed videos one?):

In addition, if you browse to Reddit.com vanilla website without logging in, this is the home screen you get — notice which post is at the bottom:

Now if you manually go to r/worldnews, this is clearly not the current hot post:

E: r/Pics just pulled the #1 r/all post – www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/cpmjkq/im_reposting_this_because_these_trucks_were/

E2: my gilded comments tracking this stuff in other subs were also removed. Example – www.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/cpklnb/hong_kong_protests_video_shows_paramilitary/ewqgxxk/
