The article seems to make a mistake. He was not publicly stayed that he was arrested for being a “Chinese agent”. He was supposedly arrested for not disclosing what he did with them. Such as signing an agreement between Harvard and Wuhan.

This also says he was arrested by the Dep of Defense. New info.
