Russian foreign minister Lavrov literally said that the evil regime in Kiev will be destroyed.

Russia’s top diplomat said Moscow’s overarching goal in Ukraine is to free its people from its “unacceptable regime,” expressing the Kremlin’s war aims in some of the bluntest terms yet as its forces pummel the country with artillery barrages and airstrikes.

The long story is that American neocons believed they could collapse the Russian economy and rally the world to the cause of global child anal, err, democracy in Ukraine or whatever.
That didn’t work, and the Russian economy is better than ever, while the West’s is going the way of the Dodo.
So then when they realized that, they should have asked Ukraine to surrender and minimize the loss of human life.
But they didn’t.
And now they’re going to lose big.
Remember, folks, Zelensky made political opposition illegal and seized control of the media but we should support him because he stands for democracy.
