The Washington Post’s recent report that the Clinton campaign, not Trump, in close coordination with the Democratic National Committee, hired the shady firm that used gossip created by Russian agents to bring us the erroneous and infamous Trump Dossier marks a key turning point in the Mueller investigation into Russia’s attempts to influence the 2016 election.
The DNC not only accepted this wholly uncorroborated information included in this Dossier, but actually financed it and spread it throughout Washington. This is the real Russian collusion. The former Soviet Union is trying to divide us and have us at each other’s throats. They do not care who is in power because things do not seem to change no matter what party or president is in charge.
Flashback to July, when the failing New York Times reported that Donald Trump Jr. had been duped by a mysterious Russian lawyer into meeting to receive dirt on Hillary Clinton. Nothing damaging was exchanged but the viciousness from the mainstream media would ensue anyway once this story came out. Many Democrats of course fell into their go-to hysteria voices discussing how this was “treason” and “collusion” and so on.
Fake News CNN’s Jake Tapper said, “It’s rather momentous: This can’t just be — this can’t be dismissed as people out to get Donald J. Trump Jr. or fake news. This is evidence of willingness to commit collusion.” Oh, give me a break, Jake. It actually was fake news. This overheated rhetoric and unwillingness to accept Hillary’s many flaws are why the left still cannot get over their epic defeat last November. Will the media come to hold Hillary and the DNC to account for what they did to Trump, when actual evidence is presented?

President Trump rightly responded to reporters on Wednesday afternoon by blasting the failed Democratic nominee. Hillary Clinton’s reliance on attacking the person of Donald Trump rather than focusing on giving people reasons to vote for her is the crux of why she lost. Trump called the Dossier assembled by Clinton and her allies a “disgrace” as the tables are now turned over what Trump calls the “Russia hoax.”
“They’re embarrassed by it, but I think it’s a disgrace,” Trump told reporters, before he left for Texas to get an update on Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. “It’s a very sad commentary on politics in this country.” It surely is. The Democrats and mainstream media continue to fall over themselves during the age of Trump. They cannot figure out how to move forward and their sins of the past continue to pour out.
Clinton’s campaign and the DNC violated campaign finance law by failing to disclose the payments made for the Trump Dossier. This is according to a complaint filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission. The complaint says that the Dems basically hid the payments from public scrutiny, in obvious violation of the requirements of federal law.
“By filing misleading reports, the DNC and Clinton campaign undermined the vital public information role of campaign disclosures,” said Adav Noti, senior director of trial litigation and strategy at Campaign Legal Center and a former FEC official. “Voters need campaign disclosure laws to be enforced so they can hold candidates accountable for how they raise and spend money. The FEC must investigate this apparent violation and take appropriate action.”
With this complaint, the crooked Clinton campaign and the corrupt DNC should be brought to justice. The Russian collusion with the Trump administration has been a hoax this whole time. But we savvy readers at IWB already knew that, of course. Even with the mainstream media on Hillary’s side, she will not come out of this unscathed. Any hopes for her running in 2020 are likely out the window now if they were not already. Trump will surely win reelection if the Democrats keep up their ineffective schemes.
