Shrinkflation in the US Is Accelerating In Just The Last 6 Months?

While the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the US from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) says food prices are increasing at under 2% per year, the real world of smaller portions at restaurants, grocery stores and consumer staple items says otherwise. Quality ingredients are also being substituted out.
