PJ Media readers know how Big Tech threatens our existence. These left-wing gatekeepers are doing the bidding of the Biden administration by suppressing and censoring speech that challenges the preferred narrative.
This week, our sister site Townhall published a column discussing the dangers of Joe Biden’s immigration policies, which have left our border wide open and allowed historic numbers of immigrants to flood into our country.
According to Facebook, the column was hate speech, and the article was flagged and unable to be circulated on the platform. This comes on the heels of the news that Townhall was on a blacklist designed to deprive websites of advertising revenue. Leaked information obtained by Gabe Kaminsky of the Washington Examiner reveals that Group M, a prominent media investment group, labeled conservative media outlets as “disinformation” or “hate speech” prior to the 2020 presidential election. With billings exceeding $50 billion in 2019, Group M and its agencies hold significant influence in the advertising space.
In addition, Kaminsky’s earlier investigation in February uncovered that the State Department collaborated with foreign entities to censor Townhall articles. This involved suppressing the visibility of Townhall content on search engines and social media algorithms, and, of course, depriving them of ad revenue. The Global Disinformation Index, a British organization affiliated with two U.S. nonprofit groups, was identified as the entity responsible for providing blacklists to ad companies with the purpose of defunding and shutting down websites accused of disseminating “disinformation.”
