SpaceX reported Tuesday a net income of $4.4 billion for the quarter ended September 30, reversing a $541 million net loss in the prior quarter and a $1.1 billion loss a year earlier. Revenue rose 161% year-over-year to $14.58 billion, beating estimates of about $12.72 billion. The Super Intelligence (AI) segment brought in $7.6 billion—up more than ninefold and now the largest unit—mainly from leasing data-center capacity, while Starlink/connectivity contributed $5.25 billion (up 69%). Capital spending hit $19.6 billion, mostly on AI infrastructure. Shares rose in after-hours trading. This is the company’s second public earnings report since its IPO.
