THOUGHTS ON CENSORSHIP
1/ Censorship you don’t like always begins as censorship you like.
2/ Allowing censorship assumes that this power can be taken back and that it won't corrupt the censor. Two strong assumptions.

Free speech has never meant “anything goes”. Supreme Court has defined 9 major exceptions including incitement, fighting words, defamation, and fraud. Big Tech could have operated within that framework. Instead they’ve usurped the power to define allowed speech. Real issue.

It seems increasingly pointless to hang around social media platforms of any type. Better to work on some constructive project. The age of the marketplace of ideas has faded. The coffeehouses full of the friends we never met are full of vituperation.
