I graduated in 2014 with about $20k in student loan debt (private).
I worked my ass off, slept on the floor, ate tuna out of a can, and I’m debt free. Do I get a refund for meeting my end of the contract I willingly signed for my education? (I’m an engineer).
Responsible people get f*cked.
The government’s only revenue is taxes? sooooo where do you think this ‘money’ is coming from? LOL
If you can do $300 billion, why not do it all? Why work? Why pay taxes? If you can conjure up that, conjure up more? Let’s go for broke faster!
Jokes on them, if I submit taxes next year I’m putting in my own $10k deduction because I feel like it. F*ck ’em.
Better yet, you can get your student debt canceled…but you don’t get a degree. No payment, no product/service. LOL
EDIT: Hell yeah I’m f*cking mad. I worked my f*cking ASS off for 7 years making payments, working overtime, saving money, living cheaply. I made my final payment April 2022, even WITH the scam interest rates I had. It wasn’t fun at all, but I did it. On top of that, I paid $20k in taxes every year so I was perpetually struggling BECAUSE of government lmfao
Here are some facts: Only 37% of Americans have a 4-yr college degree, only 13% have graduate degrees, and a full 56% of student loan debt is held by people who went to grad school.
Biden's plan to cancel it would be like taking money from a plumber to pay the debt of a lawyer.

$10,000 student loan “cancellation” isn’t just an economic fallacy or a behavioral incentive to those with outstanding debt to stop paying, it also spits in the face of those who did the right thing & already paid. It’s moral hazard squared… and just doesn’t make sense.

Three glaring problems with Biden’s $10k student debt cancellation plan.
"I've saved all my money. [My daughter] doesn't have any student loans. Am I going to get my money back?"
Elizabeth Warren: "Of course not."

OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY: In ‘The Inflation Expansion Act,’ Biden Will ‘Forgive’ $300 Billion in Student Loan Debt.
You cannot subsidize irresponsibility and expect people to become more responsible.

Dear @federalreserve how many more rate hikes and millions unemployed will it take to offset the inflation from biden's debt forgiveness t.co/N4vnXkEFuh
