Employed by Major Home Improvement retailer. Been informed that we are going to have way worse shortages than we already have or had anticipated.
The company is scrambling to conduct sweeping remodels of the “floor” to help offset the look of empty shelves and drop zones.
We received reporting that showed us our “get healthy” dates on stock that we ran out of and they came and went and we are still out of important items and material.
In fact over the next couple months you will be seeing major remodels in store. You’ll know it when you see it. It’s to maintain planogram integrity while keeping the stores “looking full” and investors happy.
This is only the beginning so it will most assuredly impact food and other essential items.
