These units were opened secretly, and radically alter how prisoners are treated — even preventing them from hugging their children. With the NDAA, if they label you a “terrorist” of some sort, they have places they just disappear you to that no reporters ever go to, no due process for you, no lawyer, no phone call, no trial and they don’t even have to tell your family that they took you, you just disappear. How un-KGB like.
