Tesla Car Factory Imposes Brutal U.S. Workplace Regime for Greed, Power, Profits?

by Thinker

Workers at California-based electric carmaker Tesla are facing an increasingly brutal management regime as the company seeks to ramp up production in preparation for its full-scale entry into the car market. The company is working out production issues with its new lower-priced Model 3, with a production target of 500,000 vehicles in 2018 and 1 million units by 2020. Delays in production have been blamed by management on the workforce, which labors under abysmal conditions at least equal to or worse than those confronting autoworkers at GM, Ford and Fiat-Chrysler. The management regime at Tesla is by all accounts draconian. In one of the most well publicized cases, some 700 workers employed at Tesla operations in the Bay Area were fired without warning on October 13. Solar City, the solar energy company acquired by Tesla in late 2016, also announced the firing of hundreds of workers around the same time.

Included in the terminations were factory workers, engineers, administrative personnel, and sales staff. Tesla management justified the sackings on the grounds that those terminated had failed to meet annual performance reviews conducted throughout the company in the beginning of the third quarter. In reality, it is Musk and the Tesla executives who are the source of the production problems and not the hourly and salaried work force. Musk stated that the terminations were:

Elon Musk on Nikola Tesla – What He Said May Shock You

Elon Musk putting Tesla down for not bring product to market? History shows most of Tesla’s inventions were stolen by corporations and governments. Putting down the man while making millions from his name. Musk isn’t promoting the knowledge of Tesla, thus most youth in the world only know the word Tesla as a car, and not one of the most famous inventors in the world! It is a conspiracy that the history of Tesla is kept out of the history books in most U.S. educational institutions. Tesla wanted to give his inventions away, NOT PROFIT FROM THEM!

What Elon Musk said about Nikola Tesla in an interview, may shock you. Elon Musk is quickly becoming one of the most famous people on earth. Tesla the car company, SpaceX, SolarCity, The Boring Company are all companies of Elon Musk’s, which are leading the way in technology and humanity’s future. However, his thoughts on Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison took me back for a minute.

Nikola Motors steals Tesla’s first name, wants to build clean semis

Nikola Motors steals Tesla’s first name, wants to build clean semis With Tesla Motors pretty much cornering the market on public perception of what an electric car should be, a new EV company with a conveniently connected name is ready to stake its claim in two other vehicle types. Nikola Motor Company came out of stealth mode today with a fresh website that talks about two plug-in vehicle projects: a natural gas-electric hybrid semi truck called the Nikola One and an all-electric 4×4 UTV called the Nikola Zero.

We can’t wait for the next offering, the Nikola Model 3. the name Nikola comes from inventor Nikola Tesla (1856-1943), who is also posthumously lending his name to that one company Elon Musk is running. While the names are an obvious connecting thread, the Nikola Motor Company will not be competing with Tesla Motors, unless Tesla decides to get into the $375,000 electric semi game. Oh, right, the Nikola One is a $375,000 electric semi.
