The most horrific case yet might be the story of a Catholic activist who had 30 armed FBI agents sent to his house recently to arrest him, weapons drawn, in front of his wife and 7 children.
Mark Houck is the founder of an organization called The King’s Men, which promotes Christian virtues among men, and is a well-known pro-life activist in the Philly area.
Every Wednesday he sidewalk counsels at Planned Parenthoods in Philly for 6 – 8 hours.
In Oct 2021, he was counselling when a pro-abortion protester threatened his son and yelled obscenities at him.
Houck pushed the man away from his son.
He was never charged for it and the man tried unsuccessfully to sue him.
Now he’s charged with violating a law called the “Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances”, and he’s facing a maximum sentence of 11 years in prison, 3 years of supervised release, and fines of up to $350,000.
High level clerics in the church should be compelled to say something, but the cowards are quiet so far.
I challenge anyone to show me how this behaviour is any different from what the communists did in Eastern Europe.
How do you justify this amount of force over a crime so minor local police decided not to pursue?
Because you politically disagree with him?
At this rate, another Waco is inevitable.
