Retail sales rebound a little bit in January, but this is after revising numbers. Trump is now de-funding the [DS] and The [CB] by getting rid of wasteful programs. The Fed is now looking at retail data to explain why they are not raising interest rates. The Fed moved from looking at GDP, unemployment and stock market to retail because they know retail is weak, this way it can be used as a cover story for why they are keeping the rates stable.
