EXCLUSIVE: The juror at the center of the Lindsay Clancy mistrial controversy is breaking his silence for the first time in video exclusively obtained by ‘Hannity,’ but says the attention should be on the three children whose deaths were at the heart of the case.

“I know the whole focus has been on me, but we want to reel everything back and put the focus on the three angels,” Michael P. Desronvil says, naming Cora, Dawson and Callan.

Clancy’s murder trial ended in a mistrial after the jury reportedly split 11-1, with Desronvil identified as the lone juror who voted to convict while the other 11 supported finding her not criminally responsible.

Now, amid intense scrutiny over the deadlock, Desronvil is leaning on his Catholic faith and thanking those who have supported him while urging people to remember the children “that can’t speak for themselves.” |

Michael P. Desronvil, the only juror who would not vote to find Lindsay Clancy not criminally responsible, appeared publicly for the first time in a video aired by Fox News’ Hannity. He said the focus should remain on Clancy’s three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, rather than on his decision in the jury room.

The jury ultimately split 11-1 in favor of finding Clancy not criminally responsible, producing the September 4 mistrial. Desronvil has maintained that prosecutors proved Clancy knew what she was doing when she killed her children.

Clancy returned to Plymouth Superior Court Tuesday for the first hearing since the mistrial. Her lawyers are asking the judge to dismiss the case or acquit her, while prosecutors have to decide whether to pursue another trial.

The defense has also raised questions about the holdout juror’s conduct during deliberations. Several other jurors previously told the media that he would not accept their arguments and, according to one juror, did not identify evidence supporting his position. Those accounts are their descriptions of what happened in deliberations, not a court finding that the holdout violated his duties.
