In Taiwan the only people who support independence are libtards.
Young, educated, disproportionately female, these are not the people who are going to fight a war.
They are underrepresented in the existing military/law enforcement.
Taiwan is not like Ukraine where there is a core of right-wing nationalists eager to fight.
In Taiwan right-leaning people consider themselves to be Chinese first and foremost.
They will be sympathetic to the CPC’s narrative of China’s grand rejuvenation.
These people are not going to fight to the death to help a foreign power.
Next there is the simple fact that China will be literally bribing everyone they can on the island.
They are the #2 economy and this is their #1 issue, they are going to spend big.
It’s highly likely the Taiwanese military is compromised at every level.
The business community, law enforcement, and even organized crime will all be bought in addition to the military.
People thinking about China-Taiwan in terms of amphibious landings are retarded.
Western “experts” avoid talking about these issues because there’s too much money to be made by keeping this entire charade going.
