War between the US and China over Taiwanese independence seems almost inevitable.
The US will tell you it’s about democracy, freedom and the rules based world order.
But the simple fact is that under international law Taiwan is recognized by the UN only as a province of China which has no separate status.

What the US seeks to achieve is illegal.
As uncomfortable as that may make… people because of the endless media narrative, in essence the US seeks nothing less than the illegal breakup of Chinese territorial integrity.
Let’s be clear.
It’s not about democracy, freedom or the rules based world order. It’s about one thing and one thing only. and that is maintaining US hegemony to the maximum extent possible.
