The US authorities are allocating another package of military assistance to Ukraine in excess of $ 3 billion. White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said this at a regular briefing on Friday.
“Today, the United States will demonstrate its continued unwavering support for Ukraine’s ability to defend itself by announcing a new tranche of military aid for Ukraine in excess of $3 billion,” Jean-Pierre said.
According to her, various funds worth $2.8 billion will be provided directly from the Pentagon’s reserves. This will be the largest of all aid packages allocated by Washington to Kiev before. In particular, it will include Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), self-propelled howitzers, armored vehicles with enhanced mine protection of the MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected) class, surface-to-air missiles, as well as other means and ammunition.
