1. – St. Louis – Dem controlled since 1949
2. – Detroit – Dem controlled since 1962
3. – Baltimore – Dem controlled since 1967
4. – Memphis – Dem controlled since at least 1960
5. – Kansas City – One Republican Mayor in 1979, Dem after and since 1930.
6. – Miwaukee – Socialist Party Mayor from 1948 to 1960, Dem since.
7. – Cleveland – Since 1942 only 6 years without a Dem Mayor
8. – Stockton – Our first recent Republican Controlled – 1997 to 2009 and 2013 to 2017 was Repub.
9. – Albuquerque – 1985 to 2009 was Dem, then 2009 to 2017 Repub, and now back to Dem.
10. – Indianapolis – Fairly even sided at any given time.
