Josh Sigurdson reports on the recent news that Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker is taking a break from writing episodes of the popular dystopian science fiction television show due to the world being “bleak.” The show has become increasingly more realistic as many episodes come true in reality. Are we replacing the old saying of “This is like the Twilight Zone” with “This is like a Black Mirror episode?” We go over some of the many similarities between the show and real life as well as the strange moves being made by governments around the world utilizing the illness that must not be named to gain further control over the masses.
