I think that Israel has made it more difficult to do the kind of analysis that this analyst, who goes by RanIsraeli, was doing on the data series up through July. In any event, he has some other more recent views;
Current status, "Severe patients":
Age 60+ :
Fully vaccinated->292
Unvaccinated->180
Partially vaccinated->10age 60- :
Fully vaccinated->67
Unvaccinated->114
Partially vaccinated->2*Most of the younger ("60-") patients are defined as "Severe" due to controversial definitions pic.twitter.com/7kV65QHgWs

New important data from our MoH:
Share of the COVID-19 tests that were positive (%) by:
*Age groups
*Immunity status
*Sector
*Within Israel/Came from abroadThe vaccine effect in stopping the transmission is negligible!

This then is the kind of data that was being charted over time by Ran and that I posted earlier;

Open the chart on this page. Notice that the numbers in the columns (% of cases fully vaccinated) by age group and (% of population vaccinated) almost match perfectly. This implies ZERO vax benefit in terms of cases… maybe there is still some in terms of death.;
That doesn't mean there are not useful analysis that can be constructed by pairing other data sets with this data set, but certainly anyone saying this data on its own shows any conclusion about rates across vaccination status is IMHO stretching beyond breakpoint 2/n
