Democrats probably won’t let her resign and will instead force the issue before SCOTUS on the separation of powers. This will be the trial of the century to test the extent of the powers of the executive branch or the supremacy of the King.
President Donald Trump called for U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar to immediately resign from Congress on Thursday after a federal court filing allegedly identified the Minnesota Democrat as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.”
