The execution of the 2009 Fort Hood shooter is still set for 3 December by firing squad. Trump announced today the Department of Defense will not livestream it. A poll showed a wide majority of Americans opposed the stream. A retired general, a military archbishop and one of Hasan’s victims had also spoken against it. Only immediate families of the victims will witness the event.
