Trump Ended Global Warming with Speech! Trump: Polar ice caps are ‘at a record level’

Sharing is Caring!

President Trump in a new interview again pushed back on claims of global warming, stating that polar ice caps have hit “a record level,” according to reports.
“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!” Trump tweeted.

  1. While Lomborg makes sense about how little difference all those $trillions will make, he still subscribes to there being a human effect on climate from energy use. There is none and it matters not at all whether natural gas or coal is burned to temperature and climate. His own figures point that out.

  2. While CO2 is harmless, there (obviously) is a limited amount of oil, coal and natural gas, and unlike CO2, fracking and other tricks to get to remaining but difficult to access supplies actually are harmful and dangerous.
All indications are that global warming is a hoax designed to throw money (carbon certificate dealing…) at Al Gore and his likes and to give more power to emergency management agencies (dictatorship through fear), the conclusion some people are drawing (“Global warming is a hoax, therefore we can be as wasteful with energy as we like! Turn up the heater all the way and keep the window open all day so we can see the snow better!”) is wrong.
CO2 is harmless and I’m fine with stopping all measures directed solely at getting rid of CO2 emissions — but (and sadly, I don’t think Trump or his team get this) because of the other reasons, measures directed at reducing power consumption, moving towards renewable energies etc. are very much a good thing.
Of course the REAL environmental problems will never be discussed in the corporate media: For instance, the Iraq war alone wastes about as much energy in a day as the country of Greece uses in a year.
Stop those wars and those gas-guzzling cars, air conditioners running all the time etc. won’t be that much of an issue anymore.
