Yoel Roth, Twitter’s Head of Site Integrity, says the biggest thing that changed after 2016 is that they now work with intelligence agencies to monitor and tackle “Russia activity” by which they mean random right-wing internet anons (remember the “Russian bot” meme?).
Quote at the end is particularly telling:
“No one group, whether it’s a company or the industry collectively or government, can address these threats on their own and so, collaboration is really an essential theme for us.”
