Maybe some of these hospitalized “flu” patients are really COVID-19 patients which we haven’t tested yet or which tested as false negatives.
Many do — it takes several tests after contact sometimes to verify. Very long incubation period according to Chinese reports and patients can be contagious during the incubation period.
